Two HISTORIC BUNGALOWS, 601 and 603 North Queen Street, in the CLEVELAND-HOLLOWAY NEIGHBORHOOD are available for moving. Since they are CONTRIBUTING resources in the Holloway Street Expansion National Register Historic District, they will likely remain eligible for historic rehab tax credits if they are moved to another site within the historic district. However, they NEED TO BE MOVED because of a residential development that will be going in on this block of the neighborhood, so we would rather see them moved outside of the neighborhood than see them demolished.
If you're interested, and have a vacant lot to move a house, please email Sean Stucker at sean@preservationdurham.org
